Keynote Speaker for AAI Industry Luncheon Announced

2017 ASC is pleased to announce that Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds will be the keynote speaker at the ASC 2017 All Industry Luncheon on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. The All Industry Luncheon will launch from the showcase main stage, feature a catered lunch, keynote speaker, Iowa Seed Association scholarship recognition, and a special gun raffle.

Lt. Gov. Reynolds is slated to join the ranks of some of the most powerful women in politics later this year when she is expected to become Iowa's Governor. Reynolds was chosen to be the keynote for her optimistic outlook for Iowa's future and her diligence to the agriculture community. In 2015, Lt. Gov. Reynolds was selected as a "Women of Influence Honoree" by Business Record Magazine and helped launch Million Women Mentors.

She is Iowa’s 45th lieutenant governor, a former state senator — the first woman to represent Iowa’s District 48. She is co-chair of the Governor’s STEM Advisory Council and Iowa Partnership for Economic Progress, and honorary chair of Million Women Mentors and Employer Volunteer Initiative of Iowa. And currently serves as chair of the National Lieutenant Governor’s Association.
